The Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology Foundation is pleased to announce that David Saltzman and Nao Takada have been elected to its Board of Trustees by unanimous vote.
David is a partner at Squire Patton Boggs, where he advises technology, financial services, and life sciences companies on business transactions and corporate governance. He also serves on the Executive Committee of the Japan Society of Northern California.
Nao is an attorney whose work spans patent litigation, product liability, and intellectual property strategy for life sciences companies. She holds a Ph.D. in Genetics and Development from Columbia University and law degrees from NYU and the University of Tokyo, bringing a distinctive perspective at the intersection of science and law.
“David and Nao bring impressive experience, a commitment to U.S.–Japan relations, and real enthusiasm for OIST,” said Takeshi Ueshima, Chairman of the OIST Foundation. “We are very excited to welcome them to the Board.”
